Mary, Queen of Peace Tenner
A tenner is a variation on a "chaplet". It consists of ten Hail Mary beads (thus the name "tenner"). The tenner originated in Ireland when Irish Catholics were not allowed to practice their faith under English rule. Many chose to ignore the law, so needed a rosary that could be quickly and easily hidden. Tenners provided an easy solution. They are still useful today to pray at work, in the car or while waiting in line. Beads: 8mm denim lapis beads. Medal and Center: The medal is a gorgeous antique piece recast in solid sterling. Features Our Lady of Grace from the Miraculous Medal. Center is a solid lapis disc. Feel smooth and pliable in the hand. Price: $48
